Erfurt 2005 - An Overview

In my autumn holiday this year (October) I visited my boyfriend at University near Erfurt...
Some of you who watch me (and read the journals ^^) may already know that...

One day we went to Erfurt to have a look at the sights like the Cathedral, the old guildhall and other monuments.
There you can go onto the tower of a small church and have a great look aver the city and the Old Town.

In the background you can see the famous Cathedral of Erfurt and a Giant Wheel.
The wheel was there, because it was a fair that weekend...
The street that goes from the Cathedral to the church is called "Krämer-Gasse", in English it's "The alleyway of chandlers".
It's a picturesque street with loads of small old shops where you can buy souveniers...

I can just advise everybody to go there if you have the change!
It's a very beautiful town, especially because of its historic buildings and the wonderful Old Town.
