This photo is taken today...
It's the first beautyful frosty day in winter 2005 so I decided to take som photos of the frozen flowers... The picture is for =gorjuss big Brothers Grimm Contest! For more details have a look here: [link] or at her userpage!  It is inspired by the tale "Snow-White and Rose-Red" by the Brothers Grimm. It's a story about two sisters. One is called "Rose-Red" and the other one is called "Snow-White. One evening a big bear arrives at their cottage and asks for help... they let him in and took care of him. Some time later, the two meet an evil dwarf, who wants to kill them. They are very frightned but suddenly the bear arrives to help them and they get to see that he's an enchanted prince. In the end one of them marries him, and the other one marries his brother... (If you want to read the ful version, than have a look here: [link] I liked this tale very much when I was small, because of the big bear, that reminded me so much of my teddy. He was strong and powerful and in the end the girl fell in love with him... It was my dream to get such a nice, warm and cuddly friend like this bear... The tale is so full of mystique and miracles - I loved this world - and still do! Just added the border and some contrast... Hope you like it! Comments and Favourites are welcome - Critique, too! I think the frame is a bit too big. Not WAY too big, but it takes too much attention away from the beautiful photo.

Second about the frame... I thought much of it about making it that big... First I had it much smaller, but it did not put enought attention to the middle (the rose). Then I tried a bigger one and it looks not right proportioned.
I'm not sure about this one either, but it comes most to my imagine...
